The Rating System

The Rating System, ah. The basic idea of this system is that a movie costs about $7 to see brand new, in the theaters, opening day. As you can see, this is not a rating system based on actual, current moviegoing. I use this system because it is handy for me. This system also assumes that the average cost of a new DVD is $15, again false. However, if you don't look at the "$" symbol as American dollars, but rather as "EenterWeb Bucks", life will become much easier.

The system is relatively open-ended, but I will never go below $0, only upwards. This makes it easier for me to rank my favorite movies against one another. Also, I don't necessarily rate every single movie I watch. If anybody has any particular movies they would like to see me review, email me at eparchos@postmaster.co.uk and I'll consider it.

Thank you,
